Terramar’s OODTP

Terramar is approved by OPITO (a UK Oil and Gas Training Standards Agency) to deliver the OODTP to the Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel industry. The system is primarily document based with training units being supplied to each vessel at the beginning of every trip. Reference and guidance material help crewmembers complete exercises to a satisfactory standard while providing a knowledge base to allow crewmembers to retain underpinning knowledge which is tested by questions included in the training units. Individual participation in the OODTP is recorded in the crewmember’s record book and this is also recorded in Terramar’s main database. Each crewmember is assessed in their relevant disciplines within three years of their last assessment/reassessment.

Online OODTP

The online OODTP facility allows vessels and crewmembers to access all the OODTP documents including Units, reference material, supporting documents/files and personal training records. It also allows Unit returns and document/record book ordering online as well as providing an easy method of communicating with Terramar.

In order to access the online facility a vessel or crewmember must first register with Terramar, this being done by clicking on the Online OODTP link on the main website home page then selecting the relevant registration link. When registering a vessel an unlock key will be provided from Terramar as part of the process. Please note that your company has to give consent for you to use Terramar’s online facility when using the vessel’s connection.
